Die HL2-Serie ist Sperres High-Capacity-Baureihe für große Seeschiffe mit 2-Takt-Hauptmaschinen, die hohe Startluftvolumina benötigen. Crosshead-Bauweise für längere Lebensdauer bei höheren Drücken und Volumenströmen. Häufig auf VLCCs, Capesize-Bulkern und großen Containerschiffen installiert. Zwei HL2-Kompressoren plus ein HV2 als Emergency-Kompressor ist eine typische Konfiguration.

🔍 Service & Wartung
Valve overhaul every 4,000-6,000 hrs. Crosshead bearing inspection every 8,000 hrs. Complete overhaul at drydock (20,000-24,000 hrs). Cooling water treatment critical.
