Marine OCM (Oil Content Monitor)

Der Oil Content Monitor (OCM) ist ein MARPOL Annex I-Pflichtgerät auf jedem Schiff mit OWS. Er misst den Restölgehalt im aufbereiteten Bilgewasser vor der Überboard-Einleitung und muss <15 ppm anzeigen, sonst wird der Ablauf automatisch rezirkuliert. IMO-Standard MEPC.107(49) definiert die Anforderungen. Verschiedene Hersteller (Jowa, RWO/Veolia, Rivertrace, Deckma) — alle nach dem gleichen IMO-Standard. Häufiger Gegenstand von Port State Control-Inspektionen.

Optical window cleaning weekly. Calibration check monthly. Zero-water reference check weekly. IMO requires annual verification by authorized service engineer.
